Course Overview
The course will cover two essential aspects of Islamic Jurisprudence, according to the Hanafi madhhab – Tahaarah (Purification) & Salaah (Prayer). It’s aim is to furnish students with an essential level of understanding in order that they may fulfil their devotional duties properly.

The text used is one of the school’s well known references, the Maraaqi as-Sa’aadaat of Imam Shurunbulaali RA.

Who is the course for?
The course is aimed, primarily, at adult Hanafi Muslims; though it would benefit others who are interested in gaining an understanding of the essential aspects of fiqh.

There are no pre-requisites for the course.

The will be held every Thursday from 9th February; starting at 8 pm to 9:30 pm.

Instructor
The course will be taught by Dr Muhammad Saleem Anwar.

Dr Saleem is a Medical doctor by profession and has studied with traditional scholars from Pakistan for over 10 years. He continues to learn from various scholars in the UK and teaches at the local masjid and for the Jawziyyah Institute.
